Terceirense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Mantorras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Mantorras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Paulo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute of the match, Américo Ramires tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robert Enke saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 63rd minute Manuel França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Enke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Enke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Ramires in the 64th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Terceirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Nicolas Lousada was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
