Vanyo Kochev charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vanyo Kochev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC LEVSKI ОК getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Vanyo Kochev hit a great ball. Radomir Yonchev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ferdi de Zaaijer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. AVV Zeeburgia's Ferdi de Zaaijer got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stavri Drakev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Jan Snoeks having to interfere. After 12 played minutes AVV Zeeburgia got a freekick which was hit by Han Wilbrink. 1-1 became the score in the 14th minute when Vanyo Kochev elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the AVV Zeeburgia defense, Vanyo Kochev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dirk Jan Snoeks. The AVV Zeeburgia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dirk Jan Snoeks should have stopped the shot. Stavri Drakev kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. AVV Zeeburgia's Dirk Jan Snoeks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vanyo Kochev in the 43rd minute of play. If Zdravko Deninski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Radomir Yonchev managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when AVV Zeeburgia's Arie van Zeist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

In the 53rd minute Ferdi de Zaaijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Yonchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stavri Drakev succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Radomir Yonchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Deinse in the 64th minute of the match. Stavri Drakev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dirk Jan Snoeks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The AVV Zeeburgia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dirk Jan Snoeks should have stopped the shot. If Stavri Drakev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dirk Jan Snoeks had great luck who in the 96thth minute grab hold of the ball when Vanyo Kochev from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post.
