Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hans Stuifzand started the match with the kick off. AVV Zeeburgia's Roel Saarberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Zeegelaar in the 6th minute of play. Arie van Zeist hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gregor Schut succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 14th playminute. Rogier van Bronckhorst charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogier van Bronckhorst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Sas got a freekick which was hit by Rogier van Bronckhorst. After 17 minutes of play, AVV Zeeburgia's Gregor Schut made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rinus van Rooijen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Gerrit Everts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marco Sleiffer came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the AVV Zeeburgia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Sleiffer couldn't finish the play. Rinus van Rooijen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregor Schut in the 24th minute. Gregor Schut struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Rinus van Rooijen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AVV Zeeburgia. Rinus van Rooijen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Sleiffer in the 29th minute of play. Rinus van Rooijen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Sleiffer in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Marco Sleiffer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rinus van Rooijen, 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Ferdi de Zaaijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rinus van Rooijen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Sleiffer in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rinus van Rooijen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Sleiffer went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 54th minute Gerard Klaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinus van Rooijen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roel Saarberg was a little too slow when Laurens Dekkers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 4-1. Roel Saarberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Stuifzand, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Rinus van Rooijen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Sleiffer went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Rinus van Rooijen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Klaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Gregor Schut made a precise shot to the right of Rinus van Rooijen. Sas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Rinus van Rooijen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Klaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Rinus van Rooijen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Sleiffer in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Gregor Schut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinus van Rooijen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roel Saarberg made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Laurens Dekkers sent off a good shot on target. Marco Sleiffer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Sas's goal looked a bit too open when Gregor Schut came free, but Rinus van Rooijen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AVV Zeeburgia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
