In the 12th minute, S.C. Potentia's Vincent Veenema seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vincent Veenema the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of S.C. Potentia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vincent Veenema had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Twierdza Osowiec a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Robbrecht Airpoel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of S.C. Potentia's Job Bot. 0-1. With a little luck, Twierdza Osowiec's Waut Vanden Berghe got control of the ball when Geale van den Brink tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Waut Vanden Berghe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geale van den Brink. After a defensive mix-up in Twierdza Osowiec's zone, Ruud Schokkenbroek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waut Vanden Berghe came out of the goal and Ruud Schokkenbroek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Gregor Ranzijn fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Waut Vanden Berghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregor Ranzijn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Lou Winnepenninck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Twierdza Osowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Lou Winnepenninck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Job Bot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lou Winnepenninck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of S.C. Potentia booed when Twierdza Osowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jammy De Keijsere didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th match minute, S.C. Potentia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geale van den Brink to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Twierdza Osowiec getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Lou Winnepenninck hit a great ball. Robby Van Linthaudt took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Job Bot. Job Bot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Job Bot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lou Winnepenninck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th match minute, S.C. Potentia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Thole to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wesley de Coninck during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, S.C. Potentia's Wesley de Coninck got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Gregor Ranzijn came free, but Waut Vanden Berghe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Twierdza Osowiec's Waut Vanden Berghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Schokkenbroek in the 93rd minute of play. When Ernest Van de Putt fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Twierdza Osowiec's protests and gave Ernest Van de Putt a yellow card for diving instead. Ernest Van de Putt hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Twierdza Osowiec were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant S.C. Potentia side.
