Herbert Good showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georgi Paraskevov, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Ernst Cakir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Avgust Ilkov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ernst Cakir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Herbert Good played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volodya Feredzhanov in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Bernd Heid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Volodya Feredzhanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Good saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Hilbe in the 36th minute of play forced CSKA-LULIN's goalkeeper Avgust Ilkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Volodya Feredzhanov's late challenge caught a ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Volodya Feredzhanov helped the player get up and apologised. Volodya Feredzhanov hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Avgust Ilkov made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ernst Cakir sent off a good shot on target. Mike Oehri charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mike Oehri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Mike Oehri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Volodya Feredzhanov made the kick off in the second half. Volodya Feredzhanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ernst Cakir put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Avgust Ilkov. A collision led to CSKA-LULIN getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Nencho Gyumishev hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Hilbe in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Avgust Ilkov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to CSKA-LULIN getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Elin Kalenderov hit a great ball. Daniel Jopek didn't quite understand what happened when in the 64 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 68 minutes into the match, Ernst Cakir notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of CSKA-LULIN's Avgust Ilkov. Avgust Ilkov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Avgust Ilkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Cakir in the 76th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Trendafil Leshtarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Good saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
