Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) In the 4th minute Ralf Talsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gijsbert Luikens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Revenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerben Saarberg to maneuver through the defense. Seagulls's Wilco Owusu Abeyie got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Seagulls getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Harm Meinders hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Seagulls's Harm Meinders got a free kick in the 18th minute. Jan Rein Klap kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jan-Joost Smeekes came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Revenge's Ab Bekker. But to his dismay, Ab Bekker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Seagulls getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Wilco Owusu Abeyie hit a great ball. Jan-Joost Smeekes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Felix Baker. Gijsbert Luikens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Talsma in the 32nd minute of play. Gijsbert Luikens didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Seagulls's Ralf Talsma shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Talsma in the 39th minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Gijsbert Luikens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Revenge's Felix Baker slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan-Joost Smeekes. That made the score 2-2 after 40 minutes of play. After 47 played minutes Seagulls got a freekick which was hit by Wilco Owusu Abeyie. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gijsbert Luikens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ralf Talsma in the 61st minute. Gijsbert Luikens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Andriessen in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Rein Klap in the 67th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Baker in the 68th minute of play. Ralf Talsma took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gijsbert Luikens. Gijsbert Luikens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 82nd minute Ab Bekker suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stef Pragt during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Seagulls! Jan Rein Klap shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 94 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Gerben Saarberg came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Rein Klap in the 97th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Seagulls had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
