Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jan Melkval made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th match minute, Revenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerben Saarberg to maneuver through the defense. Brecht Van Beneden kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Revenge booed when All Stars Gent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphaël Boede didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Felix Baker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revenge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Baker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Revenge's Jan Rein Klap got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th match minute, Revenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rein Eggens to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert Luikens was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Brecht Van Beneden. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Baker in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yvan Poets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jan Melkval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Dekeyser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gijsbert Luikens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, All Stars Gent's Gijsbert Luikens threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jan Melkval, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 34th minute of the match, David Dekeyser got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gijsbert Luikens was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Revenge's goalkeeper Gijsbert Luikens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brecht Van Beneden. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ab Bekker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Revenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerben Saarberg to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Brecht Van Beneden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gijsbert Luikens. Revenge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brecht Van Beneden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 63rd minute, Jan Melkval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Revenge's Gijsbert Luikens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Melkval in the 65th minute of play. After 80 played minutes All Stars Gent got a freekick which was hit by David Dekeyser. Gijsbert Luikens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brecht Van Beneden, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Jan Melkval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gijsbert Luikens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andreas Meynen hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jan Melkval hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When David Dekeyser came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the All Stars Gent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Dekeyser couldn't finish the play. Ab Bekker charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ab Bekker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pieter Korevaar kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Revenge's zone, Brecht Van Beneden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gijsbert Luikens came out of the goal and Brecht Van Beneden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. All Stars Gent fully deserved thier win.
