The referee showed Sergey Munev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SvE United booed when VN Keleler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergey Munev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, one of VN Keleler:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VN Keleler. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, SvE United's Boncho Uvakov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lyubcho Ruychev. Kuzman Dobrovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lyubcho Ruychev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimo Igov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Balakchiev in the 25th minute of the match. Rostislav Mazakov scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimo Igov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dimo Igov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rostislav Mazakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimo Igov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rostislav Mazakov in the 36th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Emil Balakchiev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VN Keleler fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Balakchiev was the one to do the kick off. Sergey Munev's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Dimo Igov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dimo Igov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rostislav Mazakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Emil Balakchiev might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimo Igov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Balakchiev ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 61 minutes, Radko Mitziev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SvE United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radko Mitziev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lyubcho Ruychev came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by SvE United's Radko Mitziev. But to his dismay, Radko Mitziev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Rostislav Mazakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 73 minutes, Angel Vardarov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VN Keleler and the SvE United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Angel Vardarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Sergey Munev put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dimo Igov. A collision led to VN Keleler getting a freekick after 89 minutes play.
