The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorg Vrijdags got free with Sander Elders in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Molkwerum's Erik Hindriks got a free kick in the 16th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Jorg Vrijdags recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sander Elders. Jorg Vrijdags showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sander Elders was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorg Vrijdags showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. Sander Elders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorg Vrijdags went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Fox Hunting Squad's Karl Van Gorpt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Simon Smeekes in the 38 minute of the game. Quillian Lambrecht took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sander Elders. Sander Elders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 45th match minute, Fox Hunting Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart-Jan Allaert to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 45 minutes, Elco Zwart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molkwerum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elco Zwart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Quillian Lambrecht was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fox Hunting Squad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molkwerum the free kick. The supporters of Molkwerum booed when Fox Hunting Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quillian Lambrecht didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th match minute, Molkwerum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maarten de Boer to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorg Vrijdags to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fox Hunting Squad's zone, Maarten de Boer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robbin Panhuyse came out of the goal and Maarten de Boer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fox Hunting Squad's Robbin Panhuyse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Fox Hunting Squad from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolf Heers during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fox Hunting Squad getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Rolf Heers hit a great ball. Quillian Lambrecht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sander Elders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rens Waterloos kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Quillian Lambrecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sander Elders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorg Vrijdags in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Molkwerum's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper De Cat came free, but Sander Elders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorg Vrijdags in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sander Elders saved Molkwerum from getting behind. Sander Elders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasper De Cat's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the game, Fox Hunting Squad's Jorg Vrijdags nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sander Elders made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Jef Heulmann charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jef Heulmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Jef Heulmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Jorg Vrijdags had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sander Elders. Molkwerum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorg Vrijdags was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
