Jan Vrieze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Bruinsma went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 7 minutes into the match, Prichart's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Hulzebos came free, but Jan Vrieze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Vrieze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Bruinsma went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Prichart's Jan Vrieze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Bruinsma in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Prichart getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Falco Sterenberg hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Falco Sterenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Kelmond S.C.'s Chris Bruinsma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Vrieze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Chris Bruinsma put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Vrieze. 35 minutes into the game, Gert Hulzebos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Jan Vrieze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Ferry Schattenberg managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Prichart's Dolf Jongsma fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ger Daems charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ger Daems the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Ger Daems hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Ferry Schattenberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Prichart's Elco Naaijer in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kelmond S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arnout Zwiers made the kick off in the second half. Jan Vrieze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Hulzebos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Vrieze was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Chris Bruinsma capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chris Bruinsma really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. When Chris Bruinsma came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Kelmond S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Bruinsma couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Kelmond S.C. booed when Prichart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elco Naaijer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Vrieze was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Gert Hulzebos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gert Hulzebos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. With an all-out effort, Kelmond S.C.'s Jan Vrieze threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mathijs Dalman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Kelmond S.C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Harris Verhoeven hit a great ball. Kelmond S.C.'s Ferry Schattenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnout Zwiers in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Mathijs Dalman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Vrieze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Kelmond S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ger Daems to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Kelmond S.C.'s zone, Elco Naaijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferry Schattenberg came out of the goal and Elco Naaijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Vrieze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Bruinsma in the 91st minute. Prichart's Jan Vrieze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Prichart from getting a goal against them.
