Jan Vrieze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Falco Sterenberg came free, but Henri-Xavier Verengen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Vrieze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Kempenaers in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Prichart's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Van Leemputte came free, but Jan Vrieze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Portus Ganda's Roger Hoolemans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Vrieze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jan Vrieze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Hoolemans in the 27th minute of play. Jan Vrieze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sammy Kempenaers went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Prichart's Jan Vrieze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Van Leemputte in the 35th minute of play. Sammy Kempenaers took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Vrieze. Jan Vrieze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Portus Ganda's Henri-Xavier Verengen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elco Naaijer in the 40th minute of play. Jan Vrieze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Van Leemputte, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Jan Rein Ostermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Danny Spoelberchs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portus Ganda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Spoelberchs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sammy Kempenaers was the one to do the kick off. Jan Vrieze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Kempenaers, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jan Vrieze was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sammy Kempenaers showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 56 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Portus Ganda's Roger Hoolemans got a free kick in the 59th minute. Jan Vrieze came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Portus Ganda's Pierre Van Leemputte. But to his dismay, Pierre Van Leemputte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnout Zwiers in the 68th minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Henri-Xavier Verengen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Portus Ganda's Jan Vrieze threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sammy Kempenaers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Kempenaers in the 73rd minute of play forced Prichart's goalkeeper Jan Vrieze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Jan Rein Ostermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match, Pierre Van Leemputte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jan Vrieze was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 82 minutes into the game, Portus Ganda's Sammy Kempenaers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Vrieze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. After having played for 86 minutes, Elco Naaijer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prichart's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elco Naaijer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Vrieze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Hoolemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Sammy Kempenaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Vrieze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Portus Ganda left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Prichart.
