The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ágyúsok FC's Alex Nyilasi got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcell Somogyi struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ferdinánd Mesterházy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ágyúsok FC. A collision led to Ágyúsok FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. János Titkos hit a great ball. After 11 minutes of play, Ágyúsok FC's Gergely Papp made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinánd Mesterházy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute, Tibor Sós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Dombiratosi Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marcell Somogyi came free, but Ferdinánd Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, László Vastag was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dombiratosi Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ágyúsok FC the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Dombiratosi Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by László Vastag to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcell Somogyi in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinánd Mesterházy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Marcell Somogyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinánd Mesterházy was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 37 played minutes, Ágyúsok FC's Bánk Döbrögi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferdinánd Mesterházy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ágyúsok FC reached it. After 40 minutes, Marcell Somogyi made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Dombiratosi Football Club's Ferdinánd Mesterházy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ágyúsok FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aurél Barabás 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. 47 minutes into the game, Marcell Somogyi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ferdinánd Mesterházy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Marcell Somogyi made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ákos Takács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tivadar Bökönyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Dombiratosi Football Club's Ferdinánd Mesterházy got control of the ball when Marcell Somogyi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Máté Komáromi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinánd Mesterházy was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tivadar Bökönyi. In the 96th minute László Vastag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsombor Vályogos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chants of Ágyúsok FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Dombiratosi Football Club had held the ball for most of the match.
