FC Rägi's Uwe Allemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Verheije in the 14th minute of play. Pieter Montechiaro's late challenge caught a Bacardi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pieter Montechiaro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Rägi's Pieter Montechiaro got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Georges Engelberchs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uwe Allemann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arend Van Beneden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter Montechiaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 34th match minute, FC Rägi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules von Reding to maneuver through the defense. Raymond Verheije recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alajos Kaiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bacardi FC's Arend Van Beneden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sinclair Vonrotz in the 44th minute of play. FC Rägi's Maxi Blattmer was substituted for Guy Kirchner. FC Rägi's Bastien Theissl was substituted for Alajos Kaiser. The supporters of FC Rägi booed when Bacardi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedric Uytebroeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sinclair Vonrotz in the 50th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Arend Van Beneden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sinclair Vonrotz was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Pieter Montechiaro sped through Bacardi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arend Van Beneden. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sinclair Vonrotz got free with Arend Van Beneden in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lou Haesevoets hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, FC Rägi's Bastien Theissl tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when FC Rägi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bacardi FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Bacardi FC's Raymond Verheije looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lou Haesevoets kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Bastien Theissl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Rägi's Bastien Theissl got a free kick in the 70th minute. Xander Steurms took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Uwe Allemann. FC Rägi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute, Xander Steurms sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Rägi's Uwe Allemann didn't even have to move. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when FC Rägi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter Montechiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Rägi's Pieter Montechiaro got a free kick in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Arend Van Beneden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andre Gerber. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Raymond Verheije managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacardi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymond Verheije was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uwe Allemann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Bacardi FC's Arend Van Beneden got control of the ball when Pieter Montechiaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute Steven De Kelper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Allemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Verheije hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. Bacardi FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
