Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aurél Barabás kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Roland Varga put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mihály Gere. Szolnoki MÁV's Ottó Szántó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Vastag in the 19th minute of play. The Dombiratosi Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Szolnoki MÁV were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Varga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Varga in the 52nd minute of play forced Dombiratosi Football Club's goalkeeper Mihály Gere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihály Gere yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 92 minutes into the match, Dombiratosi Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Varga came free, but Mihály Gere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Szolnoki MÁV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Szolnoki MÁV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
