In the 6th minute Esquirla FC were awarded a corner. Vic de Reyck went to the cornerflag to take it. Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bocho Zhivankin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richy Van Mellaert went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. VN Ultra Spartak's Bocho Zhivankin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richy Van Mellaert in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of VN Ultra Spartak booed when Esquirla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Wery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitri Huijbreghts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zlatko Deribeev went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Wes Goons hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Miho Demirov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dimitri Huijbreghts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zlatko Deribeev went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Zlatko Deribeev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dimitri Huijbreghts made a huge save. With a little luck, Esquirla FC's Dimitri Huijbreghts got control of the ball when Zlatko Deribeev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bocho Zhivankin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, VN Ultra Spartak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Krústinov to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bocho Zhivankin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richy Van Mellaert in the 51st minute of play forced VN Ultra Spartak's goalkeeper Bocho Zhivankin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Richy Van Mellaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bocho Zhivankin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Gospodin Fúrtunkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimitri Huijbreghts. Esquirla FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gospodin Fúrtunkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Bocho Zhivankin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richy Van Mellaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, VN Ultra Spartak's Bocho Zhivankin got control of the ball when Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bocho Zhivankin made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute Zlatko Deribeev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Huijbreghts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bernt Lembrechts fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esquirla FC's protests and gave Bernt Lembrechts a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Bernt Lembrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Bocho Zhivankin to make any attempt to save it. Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Bocho Zhivankin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquirla FC. In the 88th minute Iskren Yakovov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Huijbreghts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes, Zlatko Deribeev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VN Ultra Spartak and the Esquirla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to VN Ultra Spartak getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Zlatko Deribeev hit a great ball. Gospodin Fúrtunkov took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimitri Huijbreghts. Dimitri Huijbreghts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Esquirla FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VN Ultra Spartak.
