Gianluigi Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasko Chochkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Pryaporets's goal looked a bit too open when Vasko Chochkov came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genko Hristoforov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Gianluigi Donnarumma made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Genko Hristoforov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Alphonso Davies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Valentin Gúrkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pryaporets's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Gúrkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Pryaporets's goal looked a bit too open when Vasko Chochkov came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Ganchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Ganchev in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genko Hristoforov in the 79th minute of play forced Pryaporets's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Pryaporets's goal looked a bit too open when Vasko Chochkov came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhelyo Tzingilev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiril Solunov having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lokomotiv Plovdiv had played much better football throughout.
