The goalkeeper, Jannes Swartenbroekx, was totally fooled by FC Zhelezna's Dimcho Reklyovski, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, FC Zhelezna's Ulises Elodio got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Youri Goolen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zhelyazko Istatkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Dechamps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Youri Goolen took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zhelyazko Istatkov. Zhelyazko Istatkov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ulises Elodio might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jannes Swartenbroekx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulises Elodio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute Teodosi Diamandiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Swartenbroekx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhelyazko Istatkov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Dechamps went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ulises Elodio took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jannes Swartenbroekx. Jannes Swartenbroekx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Flamenco United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Elodio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Teodosi Diamandiev charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosi Diamandiev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, FC Zhelezna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosi Diamandiev to maneuver through the defense. FC Zhelezna's Zhelyazko Istatkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Wuyts in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Flamenco United's zone, Ulises Elodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannes Swartenbroekx came out of the goal and Ulises Elodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Flamenco United's Vicente Dechamps slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zhelyazko Istatkov. That made the score 5-3 after 72 minutes of play. Zhelyazko Istatkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Dechamps in the 75th minute of play. Dimcho Reklyovski hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. FC Zhelezna's Zhelyazko Istatkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Wuyts in the 78th minute of play. The tension between the FC Zhelezna and the Flamenco United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, FC Zhelezna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niki Pironkov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Flamenco United booed when FC Zhelezna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimcho Reklyovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhelyazko Istatkov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Wuyts showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-5 in the 92 minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
