Zhelyazko Istatkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Pantani, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A hard shot 20 in the game by Géza Hellinger from a close distance when the talented Zhelyazko Istatkov managed to make a qualified save. FC Zhelezna's players were relieved. With a little luck, FC Zhelezna's Zhelyazko Istatkov got control of the ball when Freddy Mel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edoardo Pantani did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Zhelyazko Istatkov 27 minutes into the match. When FC Zhelezna's Temelko Tzelov in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edoardo Pantani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 67th minute, Freddy Mel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayern München FC. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 73rd minute Edoardo Pantani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhelyazko Istatkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
