Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Willem-Jan Paelemans got the match started through his kick off. Joris Lanphant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fauna Utd's Frederick Van Gorp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Van Beylen in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Willem-Jan Paelemans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebbe Smet was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 22 minutes of play, Fauna Utd's Harry Custermans made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebbe Smet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dean De Koq's late challenge caught a Limburg United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dean De Koq helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willem-Jan Paelemans in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebbe Smet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38thth minute of the game Willem-Jan Paelemans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limburg United's Sebbe Smet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie Van Beylen came free, but Frederick Van Gorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fauna Utd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck was slow to take the kick. During this time Limburg United's players had a chance to rest. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Willem-Jan Paelemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jozef van Elderen's late challenge caught a Limburg United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jozef van Elderen helped the player get up and apologised. Dany-Adams Van Halssbeeck came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frederick Van Gorp could save by the left post. In the 72nd minute, Bernard Vanden Bussche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Willem-Jan Paelemans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebbe Smet was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yannis Candries in the 77th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Sebbe Smet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robbie Van Beylen during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robbie Van Beylen hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Joris Lanphant charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joris Lanphant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebbe Smet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fauna Utd's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
