In the 2nd match minute, Ad Fundum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim-Jan Maes to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Petar Karabachiyski from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Franky Gallot's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 14 minutes of play, Ad Fundum's Billy Straetmans made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhelyazko Istatkov was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FC Zhelezna getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tzvyatko Haydushki hit a great ball. Zhelyazko Istatkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arno Maerschalks in the 20th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Arno Maerschalks made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Zhelezna's Zhelyazko Istatkov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Zhelezna's Zhelyazko Istatkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffe Pardons in the 31st minute of play. FC Zhelezna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roni Ravoet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arno Maerschalks stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ad Fundum's Franky Gallot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denimir Stanchev in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Billy Straetmans got free with Zhelyazko Istatkov in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Roni Ravoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhelyazko Istatkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Ad Fundum's Roni Ravoet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zhelyazko Istatkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Niki Pironkov kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Franky Gallot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denimir Stanchev in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Zhelezna booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu-Maxim Van Baerlem didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes, Stoycho Biradzhiev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Zhelezna and the Ad Fundum players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Zhelezna's Stoycho Biradzhiev got a free kick in the 76th minute. Ad Fundum's Arno Maerschalks couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Zhelezna. 79 minutes into the game, Ad Fundum's Billy Straetmans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zhelyazko Istatkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Roni Ravoet struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Zhelyazko Istatkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ad Fundum. Ad Fundum's Arno Maerschalks got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Zhelezna getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Stoycho Biradzhiev hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Billy Straetmans kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zhelyazko Istatkov. That made the score 0-7 in the 89 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ad Fundum had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
