György Weszely received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andriy Trubin came out and tried to block the shot, but György Weszely slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Valencia CF Mindszent's Viktor Tolnai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostyantyn Tereschenko in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by György Weszely. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. György Weszely was the one to do the kick off.
