A collision led to ЦСКА getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Bogdan Belberov hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ЦСКА's Gergin Shtúrbov got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Tinko Gerovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kobe Vanneste in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve De kaiser got free with Tinko Gerovski in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute De Keikoppers were awarded a corner. Erwin Naets went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on De Keikoppers's corner Erwin Naets fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tinko Gerovski quite easily take care of the ball. Tinko Gerovski made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Steve De kaiser sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kobe Vanneste in the 40th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Tinko Gerovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert-Jan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dancho Vamporov in the 44th minute of play.
