Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9thth minute of the game Duško Turnšek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Eduard Wagner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 minutes, Duško Turnšek made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Eduard Wagner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rastislav Tomič to maneuver through the defense. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Guido Reich shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Konstantin Pančur but with some difficulty. Konstantin Pančur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Grau in the 31st minute of the match. Eduard Wagner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jernej Petrovič in the 32nd minute of play. Duško Turnšek took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduard Wagner. Eduard Wagner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Doctor Kabini was substituted for Michael Lauterwasser. The audience was convinced that Duško Turnšek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduard Wagner was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Doctor Kabini hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Zlatko Goričan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44thth minute of the game Duško Turnšek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Eduard Wagner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. HIT Gorica were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duško Turnšek to make the kick off. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Eduard Wagner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ from getting a goal against them. Venancio Abalos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. HIT Gorica made a substitution. Brite McCready replaced Venancio Abalos. Istok Šabotić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Reich took the corner. Istok Šabotić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduard Wagner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. HIT Gorica were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
