Nimród Vére's János Saághy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hub Groten in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zalán Pető got free with Alfred Oevermans in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. János Saághy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teun Otten went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Nathan Wermans made a precise shot to the right of János Saághy. Nimród Vére's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 33rd minute, Hub Groten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. János Saághy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The wind increased when Teun Otten made the kick off in the second half. Sjoerd van Asten's late challenge caught a Nimród Vére's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sjoerd van Asten helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes De Kasteelheren got a freekick which was hit by Sjoerd van Asten. Nathan Wermans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. De Kasteelheren's Hub Groten got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Hub Groten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Kasteelheren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nimród Vére the free kick. After 67 played minutes De Kasteelheren got a freekick which was hit by Hub Groten. After 68 minutes, Pieter-Jan Staarman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Kasteelheren and the Nimród Vére players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guus Kolman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. János Kántor was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. János Saághy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teun Otten in the 74th minute of the match. János Saághy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teun Otten, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Hub Groten in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of János Saághy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hub Groten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The De Kasteelheren players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
