In the 3rd minute, Teodosio Orzaize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konstantin Pančur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Wolicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Sali Urban to fire away a dangerous shot which Konstantin Pančur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Venancio Abalos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. HIT Gorica's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tommi Adams stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zlatko Goričan's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute of the match HIT Gorica got a corner. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. László Tar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in László Tar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Tommi Adams did a great save. HIT Gorica were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. László Tar took the corner. HIT Gorica's László Tar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommi Adams in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goal looked a bit too open when Duško Turnšek came free, but Tommi Adams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Duško Turnšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommi Adams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was László Tar who took care of the corner kick. Tommi Adams stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duško Turnšek's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Tommi Adams made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatko Goričan in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto-Carlos Effenberger to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duško Turnšek got free with Tommi Adams in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute Duško Turnšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommi Adams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Dennis Schulz hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iwo Wolicki made a kick off. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sali Urban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philipp Wieberneit charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philipp Wieberneit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Istok Šabotić shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Istok Šabotić took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommi Adams. Tommi Adams dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 70th minute of the match Istok Šabotić sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommi Adams skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Iwo Wolicki got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute, Istok Šabotić made a precise shot to the right of Tommi Adams. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 78 minutes, Brite McCready managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HIT Gorica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brite McCready was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goal looked a bit too open when Brite McCready came free, but Tommi Adams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brite McCready didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Brite McCready came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the HIT Gorica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brite McCready couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute of the match CJ Desailly shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommi Adams showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Istok Šabotić in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommi Adams prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
