Ivan Kmetov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csaba Kálmán, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Antonio Dryankov got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Pál Bakos fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Csabagyöngye's protests and gave Pál Bakos a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Csabagyöngye got a freekick which was hit by Pál Bakos. Áron Erőss hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ognyan Filipov kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th play minute Áron Erőss came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ivan Kmetov. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Valko Mitin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeromos Bártfai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912 got a freekick which was hit by Vasil Shterionov. If Nándor Pécsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darin Ermenkov scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeromos Bártfai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Darin Ermenkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeromos Bártfai was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Darin Ermenkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeromos Bártfai. In the 45th minute, Csabagyöngye's Csaba Kálmán dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasil Shterionov in the 51st minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Jeromos Bártfai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darin Ermenkov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Jeromos Bártfai skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jeromos Bártfai was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ognyan Filipov. 71 minutes into the match, Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Jeromos Bártfai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darin Ermenkov. 72 minutes into the match, Bayan Kasapov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeromos Bártfai. Csabagyöngye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bayan Kasapov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Ivan Kmetov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nándor Pécsi in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Csabagyöngye booed when Botev Plovdiv 1912 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasil Shterionov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Csaba Kálmán's late challenge caught a Botev Plovdiv 1912's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Csaba Kálmán helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Csaba Kálmán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Botev Plovdiv 1912 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
