A hard shot by Gert Hebert from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Gyula Grosics's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mátyás Török was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gyula Grosics prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 92 minutes, Ted Kamps managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albertus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Kamps was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frits Platvoet in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gyula Grosics prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 played minutes SÉ SE got a freekick which was hit by Ferenc Sárkány. In the 95th minute, Ted Kamps got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
