Mátyás Török's late challenge caught a FC Stadtclub's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mátyás Török helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes FC Stadtclub got a freekick which was hit by Gibson Dürst. Patrick Jeanneret was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alkestis Stasinopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mátyás Török, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Stadtclub defense, András Hámori kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alkestis Stasinopoulos. The FC Stadtclub fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alkestis Stasinopoulos should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the game, László Pálinkás was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SÉ SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Stadtclub the free kick. László Pálinkás kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Lamberto Perktold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norbert Rózsa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Mátyás Török shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkestis Stasinopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. László Pálinkás hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Michael Hottiger kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mátyás Török in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alkestis Stasinopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th match minute, FC Stadtclub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lamberto Perktold to maneuver through the defense. The FC Stadtclub players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SÉ SE were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Dufresne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mátyás Török in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Stadtclub's goalkeeper Alkestis Stasinopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mátyás Török who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Alkestis Stasinopoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, SÉ SE's Norbert Rózsa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alkestis Stasinopoulos. Alkestis Stasinopoulos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Mátyás Török recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Stadtclub getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Flávio Fontes hit a great ball. Mátyás Török's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Alkestis Stasinopoulos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 73 played minutes FC Stadtclub got a freekick which was hit by Lamberto Perktold. András Hámori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Alkestis Stasinopoulos made a huge save. Alkestis Stasinopoulos was a little too slow when Mátyás Török got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-5. With a little luck, FC Stadtclub's Alkestis Stasinopoulos got control of the ball when Mátyás Török tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mátyás Török received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alkestis Stasinopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SÉ SE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
