The referee ignored Invictus FC's protests and gave Sammy Cuejvers a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Flashdynamica booed when Invictus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sammy Cuejvers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sammy Candries made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Daniel Hofsteenge sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Hofsteenge could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Sammy Candries however easily saved by the left post. Dennis Kiewit's late challenge caught a Invictus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Kiewit helped the player get up and apologised. Dennis Kiewit kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Kristof Verdonck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meindert Janus having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart De Keyser in the 14th minute of play forced Flashdynamica's goalkeeper Meindert Janus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Dennis Anneese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Bram Huyghebaert got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Hofsteenge came free, but Sammy Candries reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sammy Candries took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Hofsteenge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flashdynamica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart De Keyser was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Meindert Janus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Sammy Cuejvers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invictus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sammy Cuejvers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meindert Janus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute of the match, Jamie van Elderen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Meindert Janus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lennart De Keyser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Hofsteenge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sammy Candries tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Invictus FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
