After 8 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Dániel Szabadi. After 15 minutes of play, Rohozec's Jaromír Coufal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gusztáv Jászberényi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaroslav Kůrka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balázs Pálinkás in the 18th minute. After 20 minutes, Krisztián György mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szombathely Squirrels and the Rohozec players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Krisztián György. In the 21st minute, Petr Vinklárek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szilárd Csikós to maneuver through the defense. Jaromír Coufal scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gusztáv Jászberényi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Szombathely Squirrels defense, Petr Vinklárek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gusztáv Jászberényi. The Szombathely Squirrels fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gusztáv Jászberényi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balázs Pálinkás in the 35th minute of play forced Rohozec's goalkeeper Jaroslav Kůrka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Petr Vinklárek came free, but Gusztáv Jászberényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gusztáv Jászberényi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimír Osvald in the 40th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Rohozec:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Szombathely Squirrels:s goal. Jaroslav Kůrka had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Dénes Boross's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jaroslav Kůrka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szilárd Csikós in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Szilárd Csikós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Kůrka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rostislav Kaňa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Lajos Jakó hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Dániel Szabadi got a free kick in the 67th minute. Szilárd Csikós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jaroslav Kůrka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Lajos Jakó got a free kick in the 87th minute. Samir Dašek kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
