Alpina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Tigers the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Alpina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joery Uijterhoeven to maneuver through the defense. Alpina FC's Jo Van Deijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Mitáš in the 14th minute of play. Jo Van Deijck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Mitáš in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Golden Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Servando Dorado came free, but Michal Krajča reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joery Uijterhoeven got his second yellow card in the match during the 21st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. But to his dismay, Stanislav Špalek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jan Mitáš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alpina FC's Jo Van Deijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Mitáš in the 32nd minute of play. Jan Míchal, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattijs Van Beylen got free with Michal Krajča in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Golden Tigers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Miroslav Berki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Van Deijck having to interfere. In the 64th minute Servando Dorado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Krajča saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislav Špalek had several of the Alpina FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Jo Van Deijck as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dominik De Weerdt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michal Krajča took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Servando Dorado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Mitáš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
