In the 15th minute Martien Degenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobby De Maerschalck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bobby De Maerschalck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martien Degenkamp went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Les Presidents FC booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geert Arend van Zijl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bobby De Maerschalck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geert Arend van Zijl in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Les Presidents FC defense, Martien Degenkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bobby De Maerschalck. The Les Presidents FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bobby De Maerschalck should have stopped the shot. Bobby De Maerschalck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael de Groot, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Martien Degenkamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bal op het Dak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bobby De Maerschalck made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Martien Degenkamp sent off a good shot on target. Alonzo Koldo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Les Presidents FC's zone, Geert Arend van Zijl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bobby De Maerschalck came out of the goal and Geert Arend van Zijl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Les Presidents FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Simon Van Eijcken hit a great ball. Geert Arend van Zijl struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Bobby De Maerschalck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bal op het Dak. In the 66th minute, Martien Degenkamp made a precise shot to the right of Bobby De Maerschalck. Les Presidents FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 72nd minute Martien Degenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobby De Maerschalck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Les Presidents FC's goalkeeper Bobby De Maerschalck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martien Degenkamp. In the 76th match minute, Les Presidents FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Václav Havel to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Geert Arend van Zijl managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 84 played minutes, FC Bal op het Dak's Geert Arend van Zijl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bobby De Maerschalck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Bal op het Dak reached it. 86 minutes into the match, Geert Arend van Zijl notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Les Presidents FC's Bobby De Maerschalck. Bobby De Maerschalck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, FC Bal op het Dak's Martien Degenkamp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bobby De Maerschalck. Bobby De Maerschalck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. FC Bal op het Dak's Martien Degenkamp got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geert Arend van Zijl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bobby De Maerschalck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Martien Degenkamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bal op het Dak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10.
