Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ron Lammers kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Melis came free, but Ferry Abbenbroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerrit Melis in the 9th minute of play forced Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Ferry Abbenbroek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Fc Benefica's Izaak Krijnenburg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Izaak Krijnenburg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fc Benefica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Izaak Krijnenburg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 10 played minutes Fc Benefica got a freekick which was hit by Izaak Krijnenburg. Franck Bakhuis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ferry Abbenbroek. Fc Benefica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 11 played minutes Fc Benefica got a freekick which was hit by Theo Blikman. Ferry Abbenbroek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Vaalman in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Melis came free, but Ferry Abbenbroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferry Abbenbroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Lammers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Verwachting booed when Fc Benefica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christijan Oorthuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henk Hofland kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ferry Abbenbroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Vaalman in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfred Vonk came free, but Ferry Abbenbroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ron Lammers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verwachting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerrit Melis in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferry Abbenbroek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferry Abbenbroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrit Melis in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Vaalman came free, but Ferry Abbenbroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Fc Benefica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christijan Oorthuis to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Ron Lammers came free, but Ferry Abbenbroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferry Abbenbroek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerrit Melis went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christijan Oorthuis to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christijan Oorthuis in the 54th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Casper Enting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Verwachting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Melis to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Ferry Abbenbroek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Vaalman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerrit Melis got free with Ferry Abbenbroek in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christijan Oorthuis struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Casper Enting didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Benefica. Franck Bakhuis hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Oscar Vaalman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ferry Abbenbroek made a huge save. Henk-Jan Opdam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Ferry Abbenbroek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Fc Benefica defense, Gerrit Melis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferry Abbenbroek. The Fc Benefica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferry Abbenbroek should have stopped the shot. Ferry Abbenbroek made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Oscar Vaalman sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Ron Lammers came free, but Ferry Abbenbroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Gerrit Melis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ferry Abbenbroek. Gerrit Melis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 86 minutes into the game, Henk Hofland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verwachting's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Benefica the free kick. With a little luck, Fc Benefica's Ferry Abbenbroek got control of the ball when Gerrit Melis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Vaalman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Ferry Abbenbroek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Han Sibon hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
