Winksele 2016's Floris Milters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Winksele 2016 from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Winksele 2016 booed when Springplank FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Japke Verbeek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Winksele 2016's Egil Jakobsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Springplank FC. 12 minutes into the match, Springplank FC's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Jakobsson came free, but Gijs Schaap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Floris Milters was a little too slow when Ferdi Reis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Floris Milters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jari Litmanen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Jakobsson in the 24th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Gijs Schaap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Fulvio Corelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Floris Milters successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Ferdi Reis took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Floris Milters to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Springplank FC's Floris Milters threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abdelhak Nouri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Winksele 2016's Floris Milters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Reis in the 31st minute of play. Winksele 2016's Floris Milters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Winksele 2016 from getting a goal against them. Remi Aerts kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jari Litmanen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 38th playminute. Gijs Schaap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Jakobsson in the 54th minute of the match. Gijs Schaap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregory Schuts in the 55th minute. Floris Milters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Winksele 2016 were furious when Sem Severens was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Winksele 2016:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Springplank FC:s goal. Floris Milters had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Ferdi Reis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 61st minute Sunday Oliseh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Floris Milters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Fulvio Corelli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gijs Schaap. Fulvio Corelli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. Floris Milters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Reis in the 75th minute of play. Springplank FC's Gijs Schaap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Springplank FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remi Aerts got free with Gijs Schaap in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gijs Schaap came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Winksele 2016's Fulvio Corelli. But to his dismay, Fulvio Corelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-5. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
