The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferry Abbenbroek made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Egil Jakobsson sent off a good shot on target. Giovanni Roodenburg kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ferry Abbenbroek made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Jan-Simon Van Hemel sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute Egil Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Abbenbroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Remi Aerts came free, but Ferry Abbenbroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Fc Benefica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christijan Oorthuis to maneuver through the defense. The Winksele 2016 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ferry Abbenbroek was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Egil Jakobsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Egil Jakobsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Sem Severens charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sem Severens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Winksele 2016 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sem Severens to maneuver through the defense. Ferry Abbenbroek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jannis Preuveneer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christijan Oorthuis to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Jan-Simon Van Hemel notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Fc Benefica's Ferry Abbenbroek. Ferry Abbenbroek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferry Abbenbroek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remi Aerts in the 60th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Egil Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Abbenbroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacco Swart hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Egil Jakobsson, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ferry Abbenbroek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egil Jakobsson's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Ferry Abbenbroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remi Aerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remi Aerts in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferry Abbenbroek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute Fulvio Corelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Abbenbroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferry Abbenbroek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Corelli in the 85th minute of the match. Remi Aerts scored 6-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferry Abbenbroek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Theo Blikman hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Remi Aerts who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Ferry Abbenbroek's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Remi Aerts was beeing forced to shoot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Winksele 2016 fully deserved thier win.
