When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Martien Degenkamp took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Floris Milters to make any attempt to save it. Kent Wortelaert's late challenge caught a FC Bal op het Dak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent Wortelaert helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Winksele 2016! 23 minutes into the match, Geert Arend van Zijl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Floris Milters. Winksele 2016's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geert Arend van Zijl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 26 minutes into the game, Winksele 2016's Egil Jakobsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julius van Zijl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martien Degenkamp got free with Floris Milters in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Winksele 2016 defense, Martien Degenkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Floris Milters. The Winksele 2016 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Floris Milters should have stopped the shot. Egil Jakobsson's late challenge caught a FC Bal op het Dak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Winksele 2016's Floris Milters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Winksele 2016 from getting a goal against them. After 43 minutes, Hans de Graaf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bal op het Dak and the Winksele 2016 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Bal op het Dak's Hans de Graaf got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute Egil Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius van Zijl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Martien Degenkamp made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Winksele 2016's Floris Milters tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

After 64th play minutes Martien Degenkamp shot 8-2, a short shot which went by Floris Milters and just under the crossbar into goal. Klaas Jan Lammers kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Rafael de Groot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Floris Milters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Winksele 2016's Julius van Zijl threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Remi Aerts, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Winksele 2016's Floris Milters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert Arend van Zijl in the 77th minute of play.
