Radek Pivovar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Lambrozzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Basciano's late challenge caught a FK Řitka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Fire Devils's zone, Jaroslav Pavelka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toto Caputo came out of the goal and Jaroslav Pavelka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FK Řitka booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loris Hellmüller didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 55th minute Denis Lambrozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radek Pivovar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Denis Lambrozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jan Blecha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toto Caputo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslav Pavelka in the 79th minute of the match. The FK Řitka players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fire Devils from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
