If Rade Gast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Tarada's Wolf Ehrenbolger was substituted for Mick Racine. When FK Řitka's Jaroslav Pavelka in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tarada's goalie prevented a goal. FK Řitka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laurent Weyermann ran over to the corner to take the kick.
