The supporters of North Hill United booed when Bruly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Neels didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, David De Raeijmaecker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rudy Duchateau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mil Vandamme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Duchateau having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Joseph Neels kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vincent Dekeyser. That made the score 2-2 in the 29 minute of play. A collision led to North Hill United getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Douglas Loosen hit a great ball. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Josef Simons hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mil Vandamme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bruly's zone, Mil Vandamme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudy Duchateau came out of the goal and Mil Vandamme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boudewijn Bauwens's late challenge caught a Bruly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boudewijn Bauwens helped the player get up and apologised. Boudewijn Bauwens kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. David De Raeijmaecker came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rudy Duchateau could save by the left post. Yanne De Langhe charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yanne De Langhe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, North Hill United's Yanne De Langhe got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Brend Van Linthoudt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bruly's Rudy Duchateau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brend Van Linthoudt in the 90th minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Rudy Duchateau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. North Hill United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
