Spectators: 177 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 41, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yancho Dzhongarski kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Diego Goos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Purple Talents fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Purple Talents's Iker Carabajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzoko Beninski in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vlado Manchev in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Carabajal saved Purple Talents from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Yancho Dzhongarski put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Iker Carabajal. After having played for 20 minutes, Vlado Manchev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC CSKA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vlado Manchev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Diego Goos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, FC CSKA's Oleg Ubinov got control of the ball when Diego Goos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iker Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzoko Beninski in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of FC CSKA booed when Purple Talents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jozef van Elderen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes, FC CSKA's Stoil Kastrev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iker Carabajal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC CSKA reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Varban Netzov in the 27th minute of play forced Purple Talents's goalkeeper Iker Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tzoko Beninski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Donato Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purple Talents's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC CSKA the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Purple Talents was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Varban Netzov took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Carabajal. Iker Carabajal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 41st minute Purple Talents were awarded a corner. Donato Azevedo went to the cornerflag to take it. Anzhelo Karamalkov hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Diego Goos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Ubinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dylan Robin was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Purple Talents getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Donato Azevedo hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the game, FC CSKA's Yancho Dzhongarski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Carabajal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Diego Goos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Purple Talents booed when FC CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velimir Kocharkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Goos in the 71st minute of play forced FC CSKA's goalkeeper Oleg Ubinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Purple Talents. Diego Goos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Oleg Ubinov. 2-3. In the 82ndth minute of the game Diego Goos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC CSKA's Oleg Ubinov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Diego Weets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Doychin Chervenkov from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Iker Carabajal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Oleg Ubinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Goos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Diego Goos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Ubinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
