NK FOLKROLA's Veselko Recko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save NK FOLKROLA from getting a goal against them. With his leg Veselko Recko managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when FC CSKA's Yancho Dzhongarski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Yancho Dzhongarski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Veselko Recko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 12th minute Yancho Dzhongarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veselko Recko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes NK FOLKROLA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yancho Dzhongarski who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC CSKA's corner Yancho Dzhongarski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Veselko Recko quite easily take care of the ball. In the 15th minute, Tzoko Beninski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC CSKA getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Varban Netzov hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Yancho Dzhongarski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Veselko Recko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, Tzoko Beninski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC CSKA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NK FOLKROLA the free kick. A collision led to FC CSKA getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tzoko Beninski hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in NK FOLKROLA's zone, Yancho Dzhongarski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veselko Recko came out of the goal and Yancho Dzhongarski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC CSKA's Oleg Ubinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasan Drobnjaković in the 30th minute of play. A hard shot 34 in the game by Yancho Dzhongarski from a close distance when the talented Veselko Recko managed to make a qualified save. NK FOLKROLA's players were relieved. Veselko Recko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Varban Netzov in the 36th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, FC CSKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlado Manchev to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vidko Bižal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. NK FOLKROLA's Veselko Recko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yancho Dzhongarski in the 50th minute of play. In the 51st match minute, NK FOLKROLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delzi Stanišič to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the match, Vlado Manchev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Veselko Recko. NK FOLKROLA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vlado Manchev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yancho Dzhongarski in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Veselko Recko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Bore Ristič's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oleg Ubinov was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Vlado Manchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veselko Recko having to interfere. FC CSKA's Oleg Ubinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidko Bižal in the 65th minute of play. Yancho Dzhongarski hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in NK FOLKROLA's zone, Yancho Dzhongarski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veselko Recko came out of the goal and Yancho Dzhongarski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yancho Dzhongarski in the 72nd minute of play forced NK FOLKROLA's goalkeeper Veselko Recko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC CSKA were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after NK FOLKROLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yancho Dzhongarski took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Yancho Dzhongarski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Veselko Recko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Hristo Konsulov fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC CSKA's protests and gave Hristo Konsulov a yellow card for diving instead. 88 minutes into the game, Bore Ristič recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oleg Ubinov. Bore Ristič showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Yancho Dzhongarski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veselko Recko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. FC CSKA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
