Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Patric Rudersdorfer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Raymond Cuveliers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Huub Harmsen hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Steffen Steinki managed to get in a good position for a shot. International Thunders's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffen Steinki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Paul Schuiling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Arda Bemmel. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gert Korevaar hit a great ball. Gert Korevaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ciro Teyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Norman Zahn came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the International Thunders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norman Zahn couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerwin Zielman in the 28th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Ciro Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes of play, FFC Merainies 03's Gerwin Zielman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Teyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Telkamp in the 32nd minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Ciro Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Teyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Telkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Gerwin Zielman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Paul Schuiling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gert Korevaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Teyo having to interfere. Sven Telkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Teyo having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gert Korevaar to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, International Thunders's Patric Rudersdorfer got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ciro Teyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Telkamp in the 57th minute of play. Patric Rudersdorfer took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Paul Schuiling. Jean-Paul Schuiling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. FFC Merainies 03's Jean-Paul Schuiling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Eckstein in the 61st minute of play. After some careless play in the International Thunders defense, Gert Korevaar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Teyo. The International Thunders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Teyo should have stopped the shot. Ciro Teyo made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Sven Telkamp sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Telkamp in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Teyo saved International Thunders from getting behind. Benjamin Eckstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Paul Schuiling having to interfere. When Patric Rudersdorfer came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the International Thunders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patric Rudersdorfer couldn't finish the play. Jean-Paul Schuiling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Dohr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Gerrit Dohr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The International Thunders supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FFC Merainies 03's performance. The match ended with a win for FFC Merainies 03.
