Veniamin Toropchin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arjen Robben showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. FK Amur:s Veniamin Toropchin showed great skill when he stopped Raphael Huber:s penalty. After 21 minutes FK Amur's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raphael Huber who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Arjen Robben almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FK Amur's Veniamin Toropchin did a great save. Wilhelm Gooß made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timofey Vekshin in the 24th minute of play. If Timofey Vekshin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of FK Amur's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FK Amur may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Unterrudling were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
