After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jordão Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pura Vida Academy made a substitution. Qian Wen Ran replaced Harry Nykvist. Pura Vida Academy's Efrain Evis was substituted for Tico Lizano. Efrain Evis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Xu Ting Yong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Konrád Ryšavý shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Mendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's Konrád Ryšavý sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Mendez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Lex Academy's Xu Ting Yong got control of the ball when Jordão Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naskhida Khatiashvili couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Lex Academy's zone, Jordão Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xu Ting Yong came out of the goal and Jordão Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Efrain Evis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pura Vida Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Evis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xu Ting Yong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lex Academy succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Pura Vida Academy had controlled the match.
