Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Nagyváradi AC's Máté Paszkál started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Paul van Mol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gábor Kásás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Paul van Mol sped through Nagyváradi AC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gábor Kásás. Mathias Huiting took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gábor Kásás. Gábor Kásás dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Mathias Huiting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, László Papp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nagyváradi AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ágætis Byrjun the free kick. After 21 played minutes Nagyváradi AC got a freekick which was hit by László Papp. When Ágætis Byrjun's Paul van Mol in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nagyváradi AC's goalie prevented a goal. Zé Pedro Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğan Gayret in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Nagyváradi AC got a freekick which was hit by László Papp. Ágætis Byrjun's Zé Pedro Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máté Paszkál in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul van Mol in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gábor Kásás prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Levente Kováts kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Nagyváradi AC defense, Paul van Mol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gábor Kásás. The Nagyváradi AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gábor Kásás should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the game, Levente Kováts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nagyváradi AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ágætis Byrjun the free kick. A collision led to Nagyváradi AC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Levente Kováts hit a great ball. Paul van Mol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul van Mol in the 45th minute of play forced Nagyváradi AC's goalkeeper Gábor Kásás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Pedro Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Szikora in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paul van Mol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Levente Kováts hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Harris Theisens's late challenge caught a Nagyváradi AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harris Theisens helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Pedro Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğan Gayret in the 64th minute of play. Máté Paszkál hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ágætis Byrjun booed when Nagyváradi AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Máté Paszkál didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Szikora came free, but Zé Pedro Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes of play Nagyváradi AC's László Papp was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. László Papp kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Gábor Kásás came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ágætis Byrjun's Paul van Mol. But to his dismay, Paul van Mol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Patrick van der Valk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Gábor Kásás skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paul van Mol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Gábor Kásás made a huge save. Gábor Kásás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul van Mol, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Patrick van der Valk fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ágætis Byrjun's protests and gave Patrick van der Valk a yellow card for diving instead. Patrick van der Valk hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Patrick van der Valk notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Nagyváradi AC's Gábor Kásás. Gábor Kásás was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Nagyváradi AC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ágætis Byrjun's performance. The match ended with a win for Ágætis Byrjun.
