Spectators: 207 (Terracing: 156, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) 4 minutes into the game, Pura Vida Academy's Tico Lizano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 7th minute Tico Lizano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Pura Vida Academy's Tico Lizano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Paul Daalmeyer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pura Vida Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anuna Kis in the 15th minute. The corner led Pura Vida Academy's Anuna Kis to fire away a dangerous shot which Jean-Paul Daalmeyer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Underdogs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tico Lizano in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Paul Daalmeyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pura Vida Academy's Anuna Kis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pieter Lodewijks, made in the 32nd minute of the game. 37 minutes into the game, Tico Lizano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brito Montemayor lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Pura Vida Academy booed when The Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brito Montemayor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Anuna Kis in the 45th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jean-Paul Daalmeyer's left hand side. After the first half Pura Vida Academy were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jordão Barbosa was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tico Lizano in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Paul Daalmeyer saved The Underdogs from getting behind. Johan Fransen hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Pura Vida Academy's Silverio Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izaak Achterberg in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Tico Lizano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pura Vida Academy made a substitution. Naskhida Khatiashvili replaced Tico Lizano. Pura Vida Academy's Qian Wen Ran was substituted for Harry Nykvist. 64 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jean-Paul Daalmeyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antoni Wieser. With a little luck, The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer got control of the ball when Jordão Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Wieser in the 74th minute of the match. Naskhida Khatiashvili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer made a huge save. Antoni Wieser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jordão Barbosa in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Paul Daalmeyer saved The Underdogs from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Meppelink during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evert Meppelink kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Silverio Mendez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Izaak Achterberg went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Wieser in the 95th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jean-Paul Daalmeyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
