The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when FCF north was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mei Yang Peng didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Decathlon Dudes getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mads Pedersen hit a great ball. Decathlon Dudes's Dirk-Jan van Bronckhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Sansone in the 10th minute of play. Jasper Philipsen kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Arcan Çapan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk-Jan van Bronckhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dirk-Jan van Bronckhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arcan Çapan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Martien Huizinga made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harris Wijkstra during the 54th minute.
