Gyula Grosics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordão Barbosa in the 5th minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Jordão Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nagyváradi AC's Gyula Grosics was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tico Lizano in the 6th minute of play forced Nagyváradi AC's goalkeeper Gyula Grosics to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Mendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferenc Puskás, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Csaba Virágh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugênio Teles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gyula Grosics. Nagyváradi AC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by László Szarka in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pura Vida Academy's Levent User. Tico Lizano took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gyula Grosics. Gyula Grosics dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Nagyváradi AC's goal looked a bit too open when Jordão Barbosa came free, but Gyula Grosics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nagyváradi AC's Gyula Grosics played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tico Lizano in the 21st minute of play. Gyula Grosics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tico Lizano in the 26th minute of play. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by László Szarka with László Papp as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 30th minute Tico Lizano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gyula Grosics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Mendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğan Gayret, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Tico Lizano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gyula Grosics was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Nagyváradi AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pura Vida Academy were winning 0-2.

Pura Vida Academy's Qian Wen Ran was substituted for Uta Andrzheevskiy. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doğan Gayret was the one to do the kick off. Gyula Grosics showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordão Barbosa in the 54th minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Anzor Tsinamdzghvrishvili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pura Vida Academy's Silverio Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Márton in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Pura Vida Academy got a corner. Nagyváradi AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eugênio Teles ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eugênio Teles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nagyváradi AC's Gyula Grosics did a great save. Gyula Grosics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordão Barbosa in the 66th minute of play. Pura Vida Academy's Levent User managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by László Szarka in the 72 minute of the game. After 80 played minutes Pura Vida Academy got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Teles. Gyula Grosics showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordão Barbosa in the 86th minute of the match. After 88 minutes, Anuna Kis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pura Vida Academy and the Nagyváradi AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Pura Vida Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anuna Kis to maneuver through the defense.
