The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Diego Baptista the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Socanelas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Diego Baptista had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 3 minutes into the game, one of Socanelas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Socanelas FC:s Claudinei Oliveira showed great skill when he stopped Tião Esteves:s penalty. Tião Esteves scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinei Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Veloso came free, but Claudinei Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Veloso in the 11th minute of the match. Danone CC's Otávio Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Danone CC from getting a goal against them. Socanelas FC's Claudinei Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Recife in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Socanelas FC's goalkeeper Claudinei Oliveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Júnior Veloso took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinei Oliveira. Claudinei Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júnior Veloso in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinei Oliveira saved Socanelas FC from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Jairo Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinei Oliveira. Socanelas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Emanuel Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Enéas Ribeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 48th minute Jairo Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Luís Eduardo de Alcântaras short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Claudinei Oliveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 89 minutes into the match, Clemente Recife had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinei Oliveira. Socanelas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Recife was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Danone CC played a much better game than Socanelas FC and deserved their victory. The Socanelas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
