Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frédson Melo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amílton Sá made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Betão Senna sent off a good shot on target. Sandro Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betão Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Amílton Sá made a huge save. Amílton Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu de Azevedo in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Guerra in the 18th minute of play forced Jabaquara SC's goalkeeper Niyazi Derim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frédson Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílton Sá having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Taquaral Campineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Damião came free, but Amílton Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeu de Azevedo in the 23rd minute of play forced Taquaral Campineiro's goalkeeper Amílton Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilton Damião's late challenge caught a Taquaral Campineiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilton Damião helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Nilton Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Guerra struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Niyazi Derim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taquaral Campineiro. Charles Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niyazi Derim having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betão Senna got free with Amílton Sá in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39thth minute of the game Betão Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taquaral Campineiro's Amílton Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amílton Sá was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Frédson Melo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frédson Melo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
In the 52nd minute of the match, Donato Guerra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Niyazi Derim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 55th minute, Nilton Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amílton Sá was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Amílton Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilton Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes, Frédson Melo made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Taquaral Campineiro's Amílton Sá tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Jabaquara SC's Frédson Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amílton Sá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Frédson Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílton Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Senna in the 92nd minute of the match.
